Qualitative interviews

In market research qualitative and open interview techniques in diverse variations play an important role. Often they are integrated in a quantitative survey design for generating hypotheses or developing questionnaires. Qualitative interviews can be held personally as well as via telephone. A guideline instead of the standardised questionnaire serves as the base for the conversation.

Expert interview

Expert interviews belong to the qualitative research methods and are used to gain quick and cost-efficient insights in complex interrelations. The experts are piloting through unknown territory. They are chosen according to their specific knowledge and can, for instance, give information on deficiencies in the service process or on new market potential.

Problem focused interview

Problem focused interviews concentrate on personal wishes, needs and interests of the interviewees. Hopp & Partner uses them to shed light on existing customer relations and to sound out customers´ preferences and aversions.

Delphi enquiries

Delphi enquiry is a systematic multilevel interrogation method which forcasts future events and trends and therefore supports corporate decisions. This method is a controlled feedback process based on opinions several selected experts and is carried out in writing in several steps. The results of a delphi enquiry allow assured qualitative statements on future market developments.
